Our SRT Shetishala (Farm Schools) are living classrooms where farmers learn by doing. Trained by experienced SRT farmers, each Shetishala empowers local farmers to adopt no-till, regenerative farming — reducing costs, improving soil health, and building confidence.
India loses thousands of acres of forest and biodiversity every year to wildfires. SRF's Saguna Vansavardhan Technique (SVT) is a proven, low-cost nature-based method that converts fire-prone dry grass into organic matter, regenerating green cover on degraded hillsides — permanently.
Vetiver (Khus) grass is nature's own engineer. With roots that grow over 3 feet deep, it acts as a "Living Nail" — binding soil on steep slopes, slowing runoff, infiltrating rainwater into the earth, and dramatically reducing the risk of landslides and erosion.
SRF plants vetiver in Live Contour Bunding (LCB) lines across vulnerable hillsides — a technique now recognised by Central Railways and the Times of India as a breakthrough for slope stabilisation.
